commercial shoot

In this picture, i see a girl and she's smiling at a bottle of lotion that's being advertised. The girl and the lotion are close up but the blurred trees are in the distance. This picture isnt balanced but it works with the theme and mood I was trying to create. The image is in focus, so the viewer can she the girls face and that she is satisfied with the product. The background is blurred and this was done intentionally so the viewer can focus more on the person and the bottle of lotion. The image is light and was taken outdoors using the soft light. Overall, i believe the photo was successful because I fulfilled the assignment well which was to do a commercial shoot. In my opinion, this shot worked out and I like it as the photographer.

In this photo series, I see the same girl reading a book with multiple books next to her. She isn't far away but i shot the photo so the viewer can tell she is sitting down, and that they can see the books beside her. This picture isnt balanced because the girl isnt in the middle of the picture, but it works in these photos because that is what I, as the photographer, was going for. This pictures are in focus and I did this intentionally. The pictures vary in lighting, and it helps create different moods I was trying to portray. Some are lighter and some are darker. The lighting helps set the mood, and tells the viewer what type of book she's reading. These images are taken indoors on a couch. In my opinion, this series of six photos were successful because i did the assignment and it turned out well.
